We’ve seen this movie before… shelves emptied, people hoarding like the apocalypse is scheduled for next Tuesday, and suddenly everyone’s an expert in supply chains.

With all the talk about a “massive fuel shortage,” the question is: are we actually facing a real issue, or are we collectively speed-running the same panic-buying chaos we had during COVID (yes, that toilet paper era)?

Fuel is obviously critical it affects transport, food supply, and basically everything else, so concerns aren’t completely unfounded. But at what point does “being prepared” turn into unnecessary hoarding that makes the situation worse for everyone else?

Are you filling up just incase… or just watching the madness unfold from the sidelines?

Let’s hear it.

Yep

or just watching the madness unfold from the sidelines?
If that happens it's likely only gonna start from Thurs. 2nd April, haven't seen anything yet.

Mostly just some binge buying of internationally priced goods? But won't be like Covid, I believe Trump that this will end soon.
(Ground fighting could be longer term.)

Agreed but I do apologize for not instantly tagging you in this new thread. Hope feelings not hurt.

It’s also about the huge price increase coming.

Depending how large the price hike will be. I've got 440L worth of drums I can fill up, and access to more.

A temporary relief at best and a waste of time and effort. Fuel will be available when needed.

100% if I do pull the trigger it will be for a significant cost increase towards the higher end of the rumors. I'm not worried about availability.
