Running away?

No one in their right mind supports Iran, and no one in their right mind supports what Israel and the US are doing now.

The idea that you can look at what is happening in the middle east and think "yup, this is a good thing", frankly boggles the mind.

Many do support Iran and many do not. Many do support Israel/US right now still and many do not. Was never a fan of absolutes. Things just are not the way you want them to be or think they are. It's never gonna happen.

Am sure there are people who support one or the other, they key being "right mind"

Supporting a regime like Iran, with its human rights record, in my mind, is insane.

Supporting an ill conceived war that will most likely not lead to any real change, is equally, insane.

And yet that's the way it is for you and from your perspective. Those Islamic extremists crossing the border right now have their own perspective and motivation. So does the US, IRGC and Israel.

This war is the final showdown of hundreds of elements which have been at each other's necks for decades, and each of them believe without a shadow of a doubt that they are on the right and righteous path. And they are willing to die for that cause. The rest of us are just caught in the churn

The emphasis on his point. "Anyone in their right mind"

Unfortunately that does not apply to a very large group of people. The patriotic, the devout, the deluded, the brainwashed and willfully ignorant are just some of the ways to describe them.
