What are the top five countries you would love to visit?

There are several countries I want to visit again. However, these countries in my top many I would love to visit:

Tanzania
Botswana
Japan
Thailand
Israel

Israel is probably at the top of that list and Japan second.

Many others like:

Australia
Antarctica
New Zealand
Singapore
Peru
In the Carribbean too
Mauritius
India

The list is endless, but does not include anything American.

India
Russia
UK
Egypt
Singapore

It depends on what you're looking for. Having been throughout N America I find that the level of "clinical predictability" of everything is just too dull and boring for me.

The most enjoyable experiences I've had by far was in places totally different to what I'm accustomed to, places like Mexico, Brazil Kazakhstan, and Indonesia etc.

India is hugely on my bucket list. Hopefully the stars align.

We've been to 35 countries in 50 years

On the list

Russia and the train trip across Siberia
Antarctica
Faroe Islands
Iceland
India

So far, we really enjoyed visiting the USA, the UK, Israel and Japan

Not worth the money are Egypt, Brasil, Dubai, Qatar and Peru

As an American, the favorite countries I would like to visit are:

Africa
Alaska
Hawaii
Korea
South America
Alaska is a pretty cool place,I've been only to Juneau .Seen the glaciers etc, I would describe it as being a lot like the northern territories of Canada. I went during the summer and I remember sleeping shirtless there!

Was lucky enough to witness the salmon upstream run with bears feasting on them, pretty stinky but cool to see. Nice people, some a bit odd though. Met this one guy at a bar there ,he told me his best friend growing up was a hole in a tree.
I only understood what he meant later that evening.

Italy
Japan
New Zealand / Australia
Jordon / Egypt
Sweden/Norway
Egypt is the worst country I've been to and most stressful trip I've done. You get harassed (even worse if you're female) non-stop in Aswan and Luxor and feel like you can't trust anybody. Cairo is a bit better, but every city is so noisy with idiot drivers honking the whole time.

As amazing as ancient Egypt is, it's not worth it for me to ever return. Also, tourist sites literally charge 10x more for foreigners than for locals.

Why do people want to visit Singapore? Yeah it's super clean and efficient, but hot and humid every day of the year, expensive, small and doesn't have much to see or do at all.

10 people can visit the same place and have 10 different experiences. A lot depends on you.

I travelled for work and spent extra time sightseeing etc.I always had local people to interact with and relied on their advice rather than touristy stuff. Getting to visit people's homes and spending a few hours immersing yourself into their culture is a priceless experience, imo.

Probably the most unique experience I had was visiting a family that lived in a yurt in rural Kazakhstan and eating with them,I even got to taste horse milk!!....it's like another planet altogether.

My earlier point about visiting countries like America and Canada etc is that after several trips there, there's pretty much nothing that I saw or experienced there that I couldn't do /find right here in SA, other than snow maybe.
Las Vegas was different & fun but very expensive, that's perhaps the most memorable experience I have from visiting that part of the world, but again,it's all about you as an individual.
