I Need to Buy Fibre Optic LAN Cable to Reduce LAG

Hi, in 2012 I Found a Half a Meter LAN Cable which was 10 Gbps I Found it on Takealot Bought it and it was very Good Latency but i eventually lost it when moving house years later.. I have a 1 Meter Copper LAN Cable to My Openserve ONT and The Fibre router when my friend pings me from his Business Fibre there is lag on my Network... Where can i Buy a 1 Meter Fibre Optic LAN Cable to use for The Optical Network Terminal and the router. Please! Help 🙏
Your Google broken?

You couldn't type that last sentence into it?

You normally only get fiber lan if you are moving massive amounts of data on your lan. IE, you have a file server and are editing 100GB 4k video files or something. You dont really use them to reduce your lan latency for gaming.

Most of your lag comes from the other side of your router. The part facing the Internet and it involves your ISP and routing.

If my openserve ONT had a fibre out I would use it. It does not

If openserve allowed the use of a GPON SFP I would use it. They don't
Look at gpon sfp "hacking" and firmwares. Those metal fingers are mini computers, according to the few sites I have looked at.

Bought a GPON SFP many years ago and still here somewhere. You welcome to take it and try as for me the juice was not worth the squeeze. Not for latency, but more for me an extra powered device in my cab, additional point of failure etc

OP is probably trolling. If not, severely ill-informed. Electrical-optical conversion will be a greater contributor to lag than any kind of distance you'll have in your house, even if you have a large house. The transport medium at short distances is not the key contributor to lag; here you have to look at what switching gear do you have between the machines, is there congestion on any port or uplink, is something else on your pc / laptop hogging bandwidth... Jumping to transport medium is like a cyclist buying a carbon bottle cage because his solid steel bike is too heavy.

Thanks. My personal projects backlog is already longer than I ever care to admit and my FNO GPON works just fine for my needs and power budgets.

Still there are some geeks that would play with those and I'm more interested in the SFP programming of 10+Gb/BiDi SFPs for my enterprise network gear, because the stupid money some of them charge for essentially the same thing.
