The hate is from millions of people who got screwed by multichoice over many years. Hate doesn't just happen; it is cultivated and grows over time in response to actions. Dstv made its enemies, now it is going to have to deal with the fact that it has permanently lost millions of potential clients for good.

I think it was more likely cause people were loaning or "selling" their accounts to family and friends.
Knew a few people who had DSTV Stream cause they were using their parents, much like TV licenses. The good thing is TV licenses don't care if you're dead or alive. I know this cause they're still hounding my MIL who's been dead for 5 years.
