Solidarity vs. Ramaphosa: Who can build the better university?

Construction on Solidarity's new Akademia Campus is in full swing, while Cyril Ramaphosa's new University of Science and Innovation remains only bushes and a dilapidated building.

The comparison between the two universities is a lesson in the effectiveness of the private sector versus the government's poor performance.

I get that private will always outdo government in getting things done, but I would like to know why private entities like the black business councils don't take up the mantle and build universities for Xhosa/Zulu speaking people?

I mean, they always beat their drum to improving the lives of the impoverished and economic transformation, but Solidarity seem to be the only group actually making a difference (for their target audience)

Why do it yourself when the government promised free education, along with things like housing, electricity etc?

“This required us to move 360,000 cubic meters of soil and material. This equates to a freight train carrying 10,000 wagons that is 140 km long.”
Can a railroad wagon only carry 36 cubic metres of soil? Seems very little?

And again, we will have clowns calling this racist - but the major difference will be that all money was sponsored or donated, the project will be completed on time, and without any corrupt tenders.

Ramap03s and Co will play the race card, and blame apartheid for their shortcomings AGAIN!

But why are you defensive? Almost like you know...
