@PBCool @CoolEscalator It seems like Blizzard peering at LINX is still de-peered currently.

Just wanted to find out if you guys are still just monitoring the LINX situation or if the Blizzard LINX peering will be back at some point :)

Will check with the team if we can bring it back up. But haven't seen more issues since then.

Hi @PBCool. Do you have any updates on IPv6 availability on Vuma AE?
So we are ready to deploy, Vumatel said they need to do it per vlan and cant mass deploy. So we have given them all the allocations. So we're just waiting on them.

But some is deployed, have you tried to enable on your router as yet?

Youtube live streams just became unwatchable for me.

Plays a few seconds, then buffers for a few, and repeat. Any live stream.

Anyone else can confirm?

Seems to have fixed itself while writing. Was about a 10 minute period.

HI there, our GGC's seems to look normal at the moment, and not seeing an influx on downdetector.
Are you using our DNS? And have you done some checks to see if its possibly a local issue on your line?

Ah sorry, didn't see this, thanks for confirming

Started seeing some stuttering again. YT stats shows very low bandwidth at those times , like 2000 compared to 20000+ I see normally. Really notable on 1440p streams.

Edit: Reference video, force 1440p, click live, you will get some initial buffer, but then it tracks normally.

Speedtests to JHB is fine.

Edit: And it seems to recover now again, back to showing 35000.

Edit: This is what it looks like now (normal for reference).

I tried earlier today with no success. Will try again in a week

I am seeing the exact same behavior when switching to 1440p. Completely unwatchable. This behavior is intermittent.

Just a note live streams would use Googles transit CISP-GGC-Google ZA Peer-Rest of World.

The VPN may bypass it.
