Pretty much this - those old school intros were a vibe. They got you so excited for the show.
Now we're impatient if the next show doesn't start 3 seconds after the end of the previous one.

+1 on the X men intro. Never skipped it.
But seeing how we can suggest kid shows too, never skipped this one

Robotech is probably my favourite animated intro.
Cool looking robots, that can turn into cool looking jets, piloted by cool looking pilots with cool sounding names?Robotech is probably my favourite animatedintro.

Edit - I can watch that last 10 seconds of the intro on repeat for minutes.
