I'm not sure if I'm still a picky eater or not... I do all the cooking.Same here except that I still hate them.
I would generally say I'm much less of a picky eater now compared to when I was a kid. Although I think it may be years of eating spicy food that have just burnt out my taste buds![]()

I've been tested twice for allergy - negative.
Yet I love the smell of frying onions.
Oddly, I can peel them for others - no tears.
I love garlic.

Your throat closing up most probably was due to the Sulphur dioxide used as preservative, which isn't used anymore in it. The Sulphur dioxide made me cough, and it was widely used as a preservative in something made with citrus juice, such as the oranges in Oros. As a kid I tried to avoid orange juice, unless it was freshly squeezed and consumed immediately.Allergic to oros. Was forced to drink it as a child while my throat closed up, having to finish the wonderful poison
