Ramaphosa is not going anywhere

The sad thing, his second term is in. Keep holding on while he can. He will be out by the next election
 
Man has no honor or integrity, doesn't have to resign just yet, but under his own rules he does need to step down while the investigation is finalized. also, the ANC cannot be allowed to appoint an inquiry, that has to be done by another party otherwise it's just appointing people to come to a pre-determined outcome.
 
The way it works now in the ANC is the cronies support the incumbent through most of the second term as it pays as while they are supporting the existing president they get to loot. The closer however it gets to general election date (2029) the more pressure there is to switch loyalty to the next likely candidate to be in their good books for when the next looter in chief takes over. Waiting for the end of the 2nd term is a terrible mistake as that means you supported none of the likely next candidates and will lose access to the gravy. So it is now effectively a political rule in SA that you do not finish a 2nd term. The pigs have to jump gravy trains as late as possible to still get gravy from the existing train for a while, but soon enough to get aboard the next gravy train before it picks up too much speed and either leaves you behind, or leaves you far down the pecking order for the trough feeding. This is ANC politics 101.

Yes, willing to bet that opportunistic vultures will be circling.

Not that I think keeping Ciril is a good thing, I just think they wont have a better character in the wings to replace him.
