Things that irritate you - Part 4

Wow, so did he use AI to write his application? Even worse! So the applicant is incompetent to even write his own application? Will AI also do his job? Just steer past my business then! I appoint only competent people who can 1. Communicate in proper unambiguous language, and 2. Has the skills to do the actual job without relying on external help.

Yours faithfully,
Old Timer.
Err no...I'm not some wet behind the ears pleb.

"We" should all be embracing AI esp in the working/professional environment but it can never.....(fill in the rest).

I can't believe I need to explain all of this.

You come across a role from a smaller company on the LinkedIn, they have a lean hiring approach. Post is 1 week old, that is perfectly fine. You run your "metrics" through 2 LLM's & you're tagged as a good to great fit.

It's an email application, no career portal. You fine tune the schit of the mail & send it off, fokol reply. Like nothing, 5 working days later.

Either this (CC N-word) company has a slow af hiring process OR they don't want good people.

Is this the fry station at Wembley?

Freaking hell, 2k extra to CoJ this month somehow used way more water then usual. Only thing I can think of is when the water is off and the air through the pipes.
Cause I checked now and it's not moving.

When something small and irrelevant is bugging you. And you know it's small and irrelevant, you fully concede it means nothing and yet your mind/ heart still think it worthy to make you lose some sleep over.

I'm not sure who to be mad at. Power goes out Friday as cables were falling. Power comes back Saturday night and then goes out after 10 minutes. This time a pole was on fire. Power comes back Sunday afternoon for about 4 hours then boom. Everyone heard whatever that was and no power again. Power is back around 6PM on Monday then off just after 9. I'm supposed to work from home today but sitting in a empty office. These shacks have caused nothing but problems but they have rights too.

When people can't put the mixer faucet back to the centre (0°). It's really not that difficult, move it slightly back to the centre, easy. Cave people.

Oh you would love it in our house.

It is like hot/cold roulette in here. Will you get scorched? Will you get chilled? Find out next time you open a damn tap!

So you want them to use hot water even when they don't want to?

My OCD would probably give everyone a very public, humiliating teaching lesson
