Yet another 'Blue Lights' fatal accident involving a cANCer ministerial motorcade...

The SAPS has confirmed that Health Minister, Aaron Motsoaledi’s official vehicle was involved in an accident in which two pedestrians - a mother & her baby were killed.

It’s understood the woman & her two children were trying to cross the N1 near Bela Bela on Saturday when the accident happened. They were trying to get to the scene of a separate accident in which the woman’s husband was also killed.

The Minister was in the car at the time of the accident.

The South African Police Service (SAPS) has confirmed that the official vehicle transporting Health Minister Aaron Motsoaledi was involved in a fatal accident on the N1 near Bela-Bela, Limpopo, on Saturday, 9 May 2026.According to a preliminary police investigation, the state vehicle was being driven by a member of the Protection Security Services (PSS) when the collision occurred. Police allege that a woman was attempting to cross the highway with her two children, one of whom was strapped to her back, after an earlier accident in which her husband was allegedly knocked down and killed by a vehicle driven by an off-duty police officer.

Those blue light brigades are absolutely reckless and always speed. If SA had a functioning justice system, they would subpoena all GPS data from everyone in that car and determine how fast it was going.

If they were above the speed limit, everyone in that car should be liable for culpable homicide. If/When the NPA drops the case, it is easy pickings for Afriforum.
