GOOD news for FREE electricity for SASSA beneficiaries

It’s good news regarding free electricity for SASSA beneficiaries. Speaking earlier this week, Electricity Minister Kgosientsho Ramokgopa explained that the rising cost of living is eroding the state’s social wage. And government should do more about it …

Essentially, all of the billions spent on social welfare is being undone by rising fuel, electricity and general living costs. As such, the minister recommends that government increase the amount of free basic electricity for SASSA beneficiaries from the current 50 kWh to 300 kWh.

Can we quit repeating that "FREE" falsehood?

It is NOT free. It is being funded by us.

As I did not get a choice iin this funding it is more accurate to state that this is a non-voluntary "donation" for which we get zero tax breaks, ie - officially endorsed theft.

Not all SASSA beneficiaries receive this allocation. It's meant for the indigent and not all SASSA beneficiaries fall within this category.

This is not free; it's blatant theft of taxpayer money, legalised by the biggest criminal organisation in RSA, cANCer. Shafting over the few per cent of taxpayers left. cANCer will not stop until there is nothing left to loot, and cANCer will take every single cent from the people. The sad thing is, these morons that keep voting for this criminal organisation are kept too stupid and poor to realise.

ESKOM is a loss maker. There is no profit there.

When ESKOM/ANC claims "FREE" it is coming from tax revenue. This is not rocket science. Unless your universe operates on anti-logic.

to simplify, this is not some magical free electricity generation out of the heavens.
the "free", refers to no charge for sassa beneficiaries
