R14.7 billion giant started by two brothers in South Africa taking strain

Doubt its just the Asian vehicles and more people have lost trust in WeBuyCars.
I personally will never buy a car from them, to many horror stories and trying to sell a car to them they offered R100k less than what dealerships were offering.
 
Always found their prices to be unrealistic, and I was able to get the same or better cheaper elsewhere on the two or three occasions I was looking for a decent secondhand car.

Group revenue increased by 7.8% to R14.2 billion, while buying and selling volumes were up 3.2% and 2.3% to 95,328 and 93,519 units, respectively.

“Sales volumes surpassed 15,500 units in four of the last six months, culminating in an all-time
monthly sales record of 17,209 units in March 2026,”


Projecting much?

Rapid expansion and buying & improvement of properties requires cash, lots of it.
