Private for that sweet cash $$$. Gumtree, FB Marketplace, Cape Ads (not sure if they're still going), but it's been over a decade, damn, time flies...

I have sold 1 of my cars and assisted others twice selling cars in the last 3 years. In 2 instances Getworth offered the highest and once Cubbi. In all instances Webuycars offered the lowest.

WBC actually gave me the best offer, and they paid and took it immediately. The dealer trade-in values were laughable...

I sold to sellmycarquick a couple of months ago. They offered the best price - were willing to price beat the other offers

WBC offered me R31k more than the VW I was looking to trade the car in at.

We Buy Cars without a doubt. It is really a rare exception in South Africa to find a service as good as theirs.

I have a bit of a car fetish, so I chop and change quite regularly. I have a teenage Range Rover that I will keep until either I or it dies, whichever comes first, that stays my old faithful, but I can’t help myself when it comes to buying interesting or fun cars on whim just for a laugh and to enjoy for a while before shifting them on. Unless I have a good friend that really wants the car, I without fail sell it to we buy cars. I don’t even shop around for better prices anymore, becasue most of the time they offer a very fair price, and on the odd occasion you could get 10 or 12k more somewhere else, it generally isn’t worth the hassle.

I upload the car on their app, they make a ballpark offer, I accept, and very often the same day, their buyer comes to my house, inspects the car, pays me the money and drives off. It literally cant get easier than that.

Used Weelee last month for a family member's car they can no longer drive.

Fastest and easiest thing i've ever done. was amazing and the service was awesome.

Webuycars offered me a ridiculous amount of money, so will not go there. Sold it private for 60% more.

When I tried to sell my 1.0 Ecoboost Fiesta to Weelee, one salesman asked me what engine it is. His response to my answer was, "there's the gate, f**k off"...

WeBuyCars took my car, no questions asked.
They probably would have given me a bit less, if I had not replaced the tires. (dry rot and the tread depth less than 2mm)
