Picanto and Sonet brings the Koreans up to par with the i10 and i20. Even the Tiggo Cherry 4 is up there. Anything popular. Time to drive a Citroen.

The Kia Picanto is one of the vehicles most likely to be targeted by hijackers in South Africa.

This is according to the driver training organisation MasterDrive, which has published its list of the vehicles most at-risk of being hijacked in South Africa in 2026.
Notably, the Ranger has seen a considerable uptick in hijackings, which is attributed to its growing popularity.

MasterDrive is a result-driven, advanced driver training organisation that engages with and assists companies in managing driver risk interventions. The company was established in 1999 and became part of the RAC Group (established in 1997).

The company has a dedicated team of professional, internationally accredited instructors delivering training on a range of programs. These encompass the full spectrum of vehicles – from motorbikes to cars to buses and trucks.

What makes them a credible source for such statements? Just curious.

Not saying anything except I have not heard anything from the decent Insurers in regards to Picanto's.

If I hear something I'll post.
