Gave the first 2 episodes of Star City a go, story could be good but still early days. Funny they didn't even try make the russians russian... just british actors with fully british accents being russian.

Unless they get a Russian cast, hard to do. If they put on accents people complain the accents sound fake. Got to take it with pinch of salt.

I figured no one cares if the russians complain about lack of representation... feels almost like an FU to them.

Spider-Noir done & dusted. Classic cinema & comics fan will devour this with glee.

Great story-telling, high production design & Nic Cage is convincing without being OTT.

Recommended.

Finished Spider Noir. A fair 1st season. Only problem I had is that Nic Cage, although great in the role, comes across as a bit tired/lethargic. I'm used to seeing a more energetic Spiderman. Gleeson was good as Silvermane. Plot was agreeable.
I give the season a 6.5/10.

You guys did a proper binge - well done and thanks for the reviews. I have yet to start

Nothing much happening new movie wise so I had some time on Saturday and Sunday to pass. Usually I'm not much into starting a new series as my time is limited but its only 8 episodes and was pretty good.

The Four seasons on its 2nd season was not as interesting as the first season but held up even with losing one of its core characters. It maintained the pace, atmosphere and cozing winding spirit. Writing is great by Tina Fey as always and this actually was a killer comedy for me.

Good - it worked well for Chenobyl. Lost interest in The Americans because now they want me to read.

My only real gripe is it felt like a bit of a bait & switch. The trailer came across as unhinged and weird, whereas the actual series is quite vanilla.
