FNB announces eBucks changes

FNB has announced a number of enhancements to its eBucks Rewards loyalty programme, including new partners and a reduction in the levelling points users need to reach higher rewards levels.

The changes will take effect from 1 July 2026, the same date on which FNB will implement its annual banking fee adjustments.

Oh yeah, first of the month and new fees.

Too bad they can't just send you a message on the app. You must navigate to *their website and search for the new fees.

Yeah how ridiculous was that email that doesn’t even have a link in?

And then it’s an image too so you can’t just copy and paste.

Absolute amateur hour.

At least I'm not forced to shop at PNP.
You were never forced too in the first place... You get rewarded if you did, if you didn't you don't get a reward.
Same boat you're in now, you're not getting a reward by not shopping at PnP or at Checkers. Still struggling on basic English I see.

Good luck getting your R260 bank fees back by not shopping at PNP.

That's why it's called a reward program numpty. You don't do anything on the program you don't get rewarded. There is nothing being forced on you, you choose to follow the program or you don't.

more dumb hoops to jump through, glad I realized early on life is about more than jumping through hoops and now about actually living.
Well that is what a rewards program is. Same as vitality with it's hoops

same as every other rewards program out there, all have different hoops, for some time FNB had hoops that by litereally doing nothing you managed to jump through without trying,

now it seems they keep raising the hoop a bit higher and higher, making it harder and harder to qualify,
same as vitality, and every other rewards program out there, the value is getting less and the hoops getting more onerous.

Sure you are if you want to cover your R260 bank fees.
I've always got R1,500-R2,000 per month, even when PnP wasn't on the platform.

Looks like I'm still getting R1,000-R1,500 without the PnP spend :/

But where do you shop?

PNP sells the same Jacob coffees as checkers/woolies..why wouldn't you want 30% back..same with other non perishables...And I get 13x my bank charges back in ebucks:)
Exactly.

I'm wondering whether @Smiggles Cadburys chcolate tastes different somewhow
