Well it's not actual eBucks you get now, it's a PnP voucher. Not bad, not great.

You could get more than R80 back on one single bottle of Three Ships, and I generally buy 4 a month ffs. Never mind the bog roll, Ariel tabs, bin bags, coffee, beer etc etc etc etc

Absolutely crazy that you wouldn't set up a little spreadsheet and spend half an hour a month monitoring it. I mean, tbf you spend more than half an hour moaning about eBucks on here, but hey, you do you.

Where is the fun in that? He doesn't want to be forced to do anything besides whatever his phone tells him.
 
You also get two types of Spar, so go to the upmarket version if you're looking for a Checkers/Woolworths type experience.

OK, so it seems like there were no major changes this time around. Even a few extra points for doing exactly what I did :-)

It's pretty much the same but Smartspend earn has been cut in half. On PC anyway.

Yes my time is VALUABLE - have seen what people who are on FNB do, the hoops they jump through. If I spend 1 hour looking at my rewards status in the month, it wipes out whatever I could get back in ebucks. FYI I am not a Capitec customer, but rather a Discovery customer but my level is wait I don't care and don't know.

Use Netflix?
Have insurance?
Have a savings account?

I think people get to level 3 by accident … simply by living. I’d need to go out my way to get only R80 …

Also many apps - especially local - are inferior on iOS. Isn’t that you’re using?

What are these hoops everyone talks about? I’d love to know. What is amazing though is how the people who are missing out on money for nothing complain about missing out on money for nothing as if they are being clever 🤣 It’s crazy, imagine trying to have a go at me for making about R6k a month because you can’t be arsed.

Anyway, I spent a good 10 minutes and checked the new rules, and without having to do a thing I stay on level 5.

Man, I wish I was clever enough not to care.
