FNB announces enhancements to its eBucks Rewards loyalty programme

Not the 8 years I've been on it.

I feel like it was applicable to only certain products like the credit card or something there was an opt in charge to have it count towards eBucks or something like that.

But yeah this was at least 10+ years ago.

Don't bother these people don't think rational that why they stand in line at Pnp Clothing to pay a bill you can just pay online in 5 seconds.
I thought you'd have to buy online since the cashiers got you banned.

Also I thought you didn't buy at PnP..... You know don't want to be forced....

Banks don't send anything with links

They used to quite happily.

And I realise this is some weird ass broken logic anti-phishing thing but come on you are the legitimate source not the fake one so how is that helping?

Or just send a PDF with the pricing guide.

Or even better…just embed it in the body of the email.

I wouldn't say "just living" .... You have to have a fair amount of debt, investment and insurance to get to level 4
Is that not part of living?
Do you have no life cover or insurance?
Do you earn a salary? Buy electricty or airtime?
Pay municple rates?

As mentioned, you should to level 3 or 4 quite easily by doing pretty much nothing .

Then filling up, buying groceires, having a Netflix or Netflix account should net you more than R80pm ...

You think standing in line for 5 minutes to get R600 back from. R3000 municipal bill is being irrational?

Oh, and the other 2 or 3k of the monthly bill goes into Clicks app for another 15%. So that’s usually over a grand, for 5 minutes, and you are arguing like you’re being clever?

But hey, you saved 5 minutes standing in a line that you could have rather used in MyBB showing how clueless you are. Oh wait.

I wasn't trying to convince anyone. I'm an FNB client and quite happy with the way ebucks works...I just differ slightly in opinion that "just living" gets one to level 4 because that isn't quite my experience.
I also have a Capitec account that I use for a small sideline business and understand the attraction of their offering.

Agree level 3 is "just living" ...level 4 not so much but that is the nature of reward programs and I have no problem with that.
Life cover and insurance are with other companies . The additional premium plus admin of moving just isn't worth a few eBucks .
I have no debt and not going to make any for a few eBucks.
Electricity and airtime yes, but the points towards eBucks level is minimal for these transactions. Live in a small dorp and paying rates not available on PayBills (or at least I haven't been able to sort this out) .

I get to a couple 100 Rhondts easy every month and I'm good with that

So, it doesn' work for you?

You seem to be an outlier. Not everyone lives in a small dorp, home & car paid off, insurance & life cover with other companies, doesn't care about a few hundred Rand etc What about petrol? No Engen around you?

Jirre ou...did you read my post you replied to?

Doubt it really works for millions others. FNB probably counts the people claiming their Starbucks or Wimpy vouchers you have to pay in to use anyway and then say score everybody wins with eBucks.

I've read it?

But because something doesn't work for you, it doesn't mean it doesn't work for milliond of other people.
Where did I say....

ag nevermind, my thoughts are on my posts. No point going round and round in circles

Is you not understanding what a reward programme is cause you struggle with English? I mean you keep thinking TIP means to insure promptness when insure isn't the right word there.
Do you not know what a reward is? Or the concept of reward is? I mean did you grow up with too many participation medals you don't actually know what a real reward is?

My sister in-law and brother loss so much in eBucks because they were too lazy for decade.

That's R4400 a month for the both of them = R211 200 (10 years) without smart spend earn. Putting that R4400 per into a 7% investment account for 10 years, will become R 738 163.

Hence the term " A little goes a long way "

You’re getting more back in ebucks than smiggles gets in take home pay.

That is partly why he has these comprehension issues. He can’t imagine earning that sort of money.

Wondering when you were going to drop "I have a Capitech account" basically a meme on MYBB now.
