I got free for life Prime video from Vodacom last year and it works great, only issue is it has ads which you need to pay extra to upgrade to get rid of them. So I wonder if this will have ads in the included streaming and how much to upgrade?
My Prime video still has ads and no opportunity to upgrade, although this might be because it's billed through Vodacom (as mentioned previously it's a freebie), but does anyone else have ads? I suspect mine is still registered with amazon.co.uk and this is why, but keen to know what others have.
Reacher, Clarkson's Farm, Jack Ryan.
He's accessing Amazon UK's Prime content.I have that same offer (and got SMS and mail today about it becoming Amazon Prime), and there is no ads, on browser on PC or on phone app), I wonder what went wrong, did you not maybe sign up for the some basic one with ads?
That's in the mobile app. Rather open it in a browser on your PC or laptop.Amazon Prime Shipping is R59. It says Amazon Prime Video needs to be activated seperately?

I also had the Vodacom Prime lifetime package but didn’t notice any ads at all.
I got an email from Vodacom this morning saying I’d been upgraded to the new Prime package, but it mentions a 12-month trial. Did you also receive the same email?

Not the same, but still now you can just pay R59 for primeI am happy, I used Amazon a lot until they ended free shipping, their service has been brilliant.
I already have Prime for the house paying R79.
R400 for the year for the whole package is a no brainer, a steak and a bottle of wine in a restaurant costs more than that.
