It may have come after that, but it started way before that unfortunately.

The political bollocks has probably accelerated the issue, but it was coming regardless really. It may just have taken a few more years.

Yeah... I couldn't help but lol at one thing (even if the whole issue is disgusting). That one guy claiming neither the Republicans nor the Democrats are doing anything meaningful. Oh but he's a registered Republican.

The Democrats can't do sweet blue buggerall in Iowa at present. Nada. Ziltch. Not through local political pressure. Not through media campaigns (MAGA has thoroughly inoculated MAG'idiots against media influence). Not through Federal intervention (indeed, the pressure from the Federal side of things right now is in the wrong direction). So - ****all ways for the Dems to do anything. Maybe he wants them to rub his tummy so he can feel better.

Be better if he wasn't a dimwit who wants to claim the opposition is as bad - Not because it holds any factual value - Rather, because that's the best he can say about his own party. Because speaking the truth would require him to admit he's harming himself through his chosen political identity.

There is no single, publicly available statistic for exactly how many people fall ill from KFC in the USA. Foodborne illness tracking by the CDC monitors outbreaks based on specific pathogens rather than by individual fast-food chains. However, KFC has rarely been the direct source of major, multi-state foodborne disease outbreaks in recent years.

For example, I consider the blanket-killing of all bacteria to be germophobic.

You see this in those who have become habituated to using antibiotics 'just in case,' or over-use of hand-sanitizer, or generally assuming one has to live in a Truman-style isolation unit to be safe from anything that lives beneath the level of the naked eye's perception capabilities.

It's uncanny that these same people habitually disregard the importance of basic personal health rudiments e.g. ensuring you get enough quality: sleep, exercise, fresh air, sunlight and good nutrition(including restoring good bacteria when any of the rudiments is impaired).
