Things that irritate you - Part 4

No it is irritating me as my previous job allowed me to roll over days up to a maximum of 50 or something. New job only allows 5 days so I'm forced to take it even though I have nothing planned and would've like to use it later in the year.
Can't you just book it for later in the year and get them to deduct it now

Nah I can book it now but it only gets deducted in the next cycle if that makes sense.

Anyway not a biggie, just a 1st world problem :)

100% a first world problem.. just odd that they won't let you book it now for later in the year and deduct it now so you don't forfeit it.. just stupid business rules that impact a business and annoy an employee in my opinion.

Phones that don't use decimal points
1 oz = 28.35 grams.

Eh, but South African convention has always been to use commas? It's just how I learned it in my school days.

128,35 mm or 28,35 grams is correct in SA.

It gets confusing when Ameritards use commas like 123,576 miles. That is "123 576" in SA notation. Probably going to start a war now.

Loud bang / widow maker going off next to me near Checkers while I tried to close my workout. World has gone crazy especially after Covid. Stay safe out there folks.

The strangeness of the Sixty60 app... Push notifications work fine when they advertise, but heavens forbid it actually informs you with a ping / buzz when they start / end shopping or when the delivery is on route / arrives. This is across more than one phone, uninstalls, reinstalls, checking notification settings, focus modes, etc.
