Oh wow, did they follow Roman/Dutch law?

Or did they just kill and eat the offender? Asking because they didn't have crops of food planted for provisions. I don't think they had hunting permits either.

Also - a whole bunch of crimes didn't exist yet - like taking a small child as your bride.

There was also a lot of war, so I don't know how ordered that was.

Excellent point, Jimmy. Just like those times, I think we should hand you over to the people who lost money in VBS, and let them decide your fate. No need for this Roman-Dutch law shenanigans!

What say you?

Manyi left out that he wants Zuma to be our king because that is how the MK party is ruled.

Aaaah also who the fvck would listen to anything this "Prominent politician" says.

So when the boers moved up there was a lot of space, why? Mfecane which was an internal conflict caused the death of 2 million Africans in South Africa, mainly due to the Zulus.

And when Jan van Riebeeck arrived at the Cape, there was a huge fight between the Khoi San tribes for trade control and superiority over the others. Jan got involved, and this although made one group happy, didnt make the rest happy. So we fired him and replaced him with another member from Dejima, Japan......and he simply took no sides, much to the unhappiness of the Khoi San groups who wanted to use Dutch guns to kill their opponents.

and lets go up a bit to the West African slave trade, the most common things wanted by the Africans especially the Ghanains was guns to take out their opponents which they happily sold to the Europeans as slaver. They actually got very rich from it. Then squandered it.

Africa has never really known any peace for centuries and even longer.

But if we really want to look at the Zulu Kingdom.... The Ingonyama Trust owns 3 million hectares of land in South Africa, which is about 30% of the entire KZN Province, and no they didnt rule all of it. The Zulus was based above the Tugela. But the best part is that the trust pays zero property tax on land valued at about R120 billion. They should be paying about R1 billion in property tax per year but not a cent is paid. We spend about R160 million a year funding the Zulu Kingdom and its members, while getting no benefit from them.

And this is unlike the UK where the crown money and the money from the land etc goes to the State who then pays the king about 1/10th of the revenue income as a salary and upkeep for him and the rest of the royal family. The Zulu Kingdom doesnt actually contribute anything but only take.

“If you did something wrong, there was a clear process to deal with you, rehabilitate you, and manage the situation. There was absolute order.”
So if you did something wrong before Jan arrived you were captured, held and punished........ just like prisons. Geeeeeez

When your grasp of the history of your own people is so tenuous you only really open your mouth to change feet.
