F1 2026

I've never understood the quibble about what he wears.
You guys implying you wouldn't wear this stuff if somebody paid you to?
Who we all trying to kid here?
If I had Lewis's money, there's no fkn way I'd lower myself to being a mannequin for ridiculous fashion - for any amount of payment.
I believe he does it to help showcase his friends' labels... in which case, he needs better friends.

Maybe your angle is wrong? It's the only people that will be friends with him?

Good one, unfortunately for them they have the wrong end of the stick.
Wasn't it Horner that made them push performance way back, as rules were about upgrades for reliablity originally, and then rules changed or something? Been so many stories about this engine stuff past 18 months or so now.

I think they miss Horny spices management, I believe they would have done a lot better had he still been there. IMHO.

9/10 times he walks a few hundred meters to his hospitality and then changes. Not sure what the big fuss is about.

I dunno. From what Ive seen reported, it was his direction that possibly led to many of their issues, including this engine development

Again for the boomers -

Lewis is in to high fashion. It isn't intended to be everyday clothes. It is meant to make draw attention and judging by the responses into his outfits on this platform, it is working as intended. And as Sinbad pointed out, a lot of his outfits are made by people he knows and who he wants to promote, and these are often up-and-coming designers, so it is a pretty good deal for everyone involved.

Personally, I wouldn't wear it and I think it looks silly, but I ''get it'', so live and let live.

EDIT: The people who get torn up over Hamilton's fashion sense should also go back and check out Schumacher's style. 100% Schumi would be generating the same buzz Hamilton does because he had an odd sense of style. Dude even had a tribal tattoo on his bicep which was cringe back then and he liked wearing cutoff shirts.

Horner was one of the most outspoken people when it came to the new regulations. Practically everything he predicted has transpired, starting with him calling them ''Frankenstein'' cars, with so many new things happening at once bound to cause issues with drivers adapting and teams and the FIA having to make changes on the fly to get the cars to work.

As it is, considering Red Bull are using a brand-new, largely inhouse PU, they have adapted quite well. The RBPT-Ford in terms of power is only behind the Mercedes and it is largely down to how good their ICE is, and the ICE is mostly the work of the RBPT half of the technical partnership with Ford and Horner was one of the major drivers behind Red Bull building their own engines.

The Redbull PU is, according to ADUO assessment, ahead of everyone, incl Mercedes... but they certainly seem to be having reliability issues... which.... it appears goes back to development direction pushed by Horner. I've not found any sources that contradict/prove it wasn't. They didn't adapt for the rule developments over the years it seems, where originally, the development 'catchup upgrades' would be about reliability, not performance... but now they seem caught in no mans land in context of the final version of the rules, ADUO etc.
