Just checked, and I also have 2 Sim toolkits installed on my phone, both with notifications enabled. Have now disabled as much as possible on both and will also report back.Maybe this will help others
Ive had a mtn nr for probably 20 yrs or so. Cant recall ever having these pop ups.
It started after i signed up for an airmobile esim about a year ago. Must have seen 10 or so pop-ups since then.
I saw now that there is a second simkit installed on my phone. Must have been since the esim sign up. That simkit has notifications enabled, where the 1st simkit has it disabled.
So now both are disabled. Let's see
Also great with zero response from @Afrigirl @AfriGuy @AfriNatic
PATHETIC of MTNHi.
Our MVNO clients should not be getting these marketing pop messages. Please drop me a DM so we can escalate to MTN, unfortunately we have to send it in case by case for now.

Also getting themAfter about a week of silence the popups are back again today.
@Afrigirl
Same here.Well one way to get rid of the popups, get a new device. Apparently esims can't just be transferred or downloaded, I've got to do a sim swap and wait 6 hours.
So no sim = no popup
Yeah, you need to do a sim swap, after the sim swap it will then "sms" you to say it's active and and, it's not easy at all.Same here.
Got a new device this week. Their AirMobile app tells you its super easy just to transfer the esim.
But when I try to do it, I get an error message telling me to contact the provider.
