Not sure if this is a good place for this. An Internet local station what we are working with is having their launch on Saturday 21 March at Fourways mall. As long as you RSVP and dress up smartly - you can attend.

I don't really listen much to music. But since whenever when I get in the car I would listen to Jacaranda FM.
But man they are pushing some new agenda these days. More and more R&B, kwaito etc.

I really don't understand it. People that like that type of music will not tune into the station and have to listen to Taylor Swift and Afrikaans music. Just as us that listen to sokkiebokkie and newest pop songs are not interested in listening to R&B.
I find myself often these days changing the station to something else.
 
If you like rock then stream The Rock (Auckland). During the day here we get their night show so very little adverts.
 
We hardly listen to radio but for those who do there's a new station on the East Rand, for listeners who enjoy older music and are sick of presenters' inane yakking.

There was a time when the radio was on Jacaranda just about all day. The music they played the last time I listened was so carp I had to check it actually was Jacaranda..
 
I've stopped listening to radio. I have Spotify so there's absolutely no reason to listen to music I don't like and listen to presenters talk about crap I don't care about.

Edit: Oh I see I already posted that in 2025 lol
 
Last time I had the radio on, it was Bok Radio, but this was a couple of years ago, don't listen to the radio anymore!
 
Only listening to radio while driving.
FMR - Fine Music Radio -classic music and some jazz or latino/bossanova music on weekends.
