Listen, can you peasants please go discuss your Samsung S25whogivesadamn in the relevant thread? This is for the S26 Ultra and its brethren. There are some differences, Dave. Nobody denied that. You keep saying many like the FE runs a different OS.
same One UI, same core features, weaker hardware and a few omissions.

You wanna also go into the Bugatti Veyron thread and talk about how your Nissan Micra is basically the same with its ICE engine, four wheels, and some missing hardware features? No? Don't do it here, thanks.
6 banking apps requiring selfie verification, vehicle tracking app, Ford and Toyota apps, Hikvision App with 4x DVR's to manually add, login to app that has my aircons etc etc. Google Wallet also needed me to add cards again which was strange.3 hours? Damn it should take you no more than 15 minutes.
i get one a month now - which is why i don't need to really bother with call screening by the time it became available on phones (Hint : it only became available a few months back) because now i rarely get any spam calls (as i said its NOW around once a month) - there was a time when i used to get as many as other people BUT i never said that i was ALWAYS only getting them once a month
To be honest i don't remember when last i have had to reject a call because i saw the words suspected spam flashing on the screen while the phone was ringing
Again, I sincerely doubt you only get one call a month. You can block these fudgers all day long; they just switch to another number.
But yes, as someone just said, this is the S26 thread.
guy i have said it and im going to say it again - in the last three months i haven't had to reject a call ie tap on the red phone button because it says suspected spam in the call ID section ..... i have no idea what i did to offend the spamming cretins BUT they have been leaving me alone for some reason or the other ....... end of story ..... lets leave this for another topic - before someone says it doesn't relate to the S26
guy i said i last rejected one around three months ago - and since then niks - nada ..... nothing has shown up as suspected spam so there were no calls to even reject - i don't know what else to say - i cannot type it out slower for you to understandAh, but there is a big difference between rejecting a call, and not getting a spam call at all. In other words, you have been getting them, but your phone shows the call coming through as spam, and you just don't answer it, not so.
Stop lying.guy i said i last rejected one around three months ago - and since then niks - nada ..... nothing has shown up as suspected spam so there were no calls to even reject - i don't know what else to say - i cannot type it out slower for you to understand
Stop lying.

Don’t we have a thread for budget and medium mid-range Samsung phone models?
You seem insistent on cluttering a thread which you don’t really have much topical stuff to contribute to…
Maybe if you actually posted the list of meaningful software differences, this thread would be useful to the plebs considering an upgrade to the S26 Ultra.
So far, the most topical contribution has been go Google it and a Bugatti analogy![]()

One UI 8.5 missing features: What older Galaxy phones miss
One UI 8.5 skipped key Galaxy S26 features on the S25 and older phones. Here are the One UI 8.5 missing features and when they might arrive.techcabal.com

Get a life, get some money, get the (much) better phone. You jelly, smelly, peasant...and you call those significant features? that is truly taking the piss with a cake attitude .... besides that article is clearly not well researched because the fingerprint thing is there on some lower models including mine ..... as for now nudge i had already said that it wasn't there and i said it was part of the two or three things missing - and the rest they state is all camera software features which i had said were excluded because the lower models did not have the same camera's - so they proved two things are missing from the software bundle unlike the 30+ software features on the A series like all the Galaxy AI and Dex and a lot more besides
so all that this article proves is that the chootiya's who claim that there are lots of software features missing in the FEs which have almost everything that the S26 and S26+ have om terms of the software actually just excreted their brains out and spent a whole boatload of money while doing it for hardware features that almost mostly don't matter besides for actual CPU and GPU speed
You jelly, smelly, peasant...
I'm so looking forward to posting something like this in the S29 thread so that it can kick off pages of mudslinging once again. SheeshMy brother and I are reaching our 36 months with our S23 Ultra's. My battery is still pretty good (I stuck to the 20-80% range for 3 years) but his is cooked and does massive SOC drops soon after charging.
I see Vodacom4U is offering 2x S26 Ultra for R2099pm x36 months. We would then sell our S23 Ultra's privately later after migrating to the new devices or pass them down to family.
So considering we will be paying R1050pm per device, good contract deal? Anything better besides a trade in deal (I don't want to do a trade in due to data migration reasons etc)
