'They came with machetes' - deadline looms for migrants to leave South Africa

It was only in March 2026 when Zille called for arrest, prosecution and deportation. I don't see anything before that but one never knows really. Like current anti-immigration stance is allegedly political move from ANC, she could be just jumping on bandwagon.
It's desperation, while the focus has been on the ANC's loss of support, truth is the DA are also having plenty of problems on that front, with the white Afrikaner vote slipping away, the only logical political move is to try and jump on the bandwagon.

The specific choice of words, "undocumented criminals" is not a slip up, they could have easily opted for their usual diplomatic statements of blaming government, but they did not, they went for what they have always criticized Mashaba and others for.

Pity they are now in Malawi, I wanted to see all those pregnant mothers hogging all the maternity beds at the nearest Netcare in Durban, there is something I wanted to see.
It is beautiful to see that the Malawian children are going to grow up in their homeland with their own culture and families.

Have you seen how fast they grow these days, give them 3 years and they would be teenagers showing up the lazy South Africans in someone's yard.
Only if you get one that freshly jumped the border. If they have been in SA too long they learn the lazy habits.

That why we need to catch them and send them back.

As far as I'm aware the DA are somewhat soft on illegal immigrants in the sense of wanting to make sure human rights are respected and such, paths for refugee status and such, but I don't recall them ever being against deportation. Not sure where this idea came from.

They've been poking at the ANC around poor border security and the influx of illegals since I was a kid. Makes sense to do so. Politically it's an easy win. ANC screwed up here big time.

The EFF's stance is often the one I find the weirdest. They're often on the side of these illegals, but at the same time Julius is demonstrating outside businesses hiring the illegals calling for boycotts and such. Pick a lane.

The DA are very left European style socialist. Look at what Europe is doing with refugees. I will put money on it that Hill-Lewis' wet dream is to take in more Somalis than France. Just "legally" ofcourse.

Julius is a perennial lane-changer.

On a serious note, I grew up with Malawians, I went to school with their children, I recall one child, her surname was Gama, being asked for a birth certificate and responding that her parents have not bought it yet, at that time it just sounded silly but never rang any bells.

I went to church with them, the most kind people you would ever come across, one elder a Mr Banda was even made an elder of the church, the most disciplined elder, whether the sun is shining or it is raining he will be on his bicycle going to church, while we were still having second thoughts.

Their trade was sewing and shoemaking, they never bothered anyone and a lot of them seamlessly integrated and married into South African families, a far cry from those know it all, annoying Zimbabweans or Nigerians, that's why I was so shocked when a Bushiri came along.

I hope they find strength and hope to fix their country, unfortunately South Africa is not big enough for everyone.

Wow. True colours.

Our ward councilor accompanied by SAPS has asked, and big surprise, most of them are illegal foreigners. Our ward has been strongly encouraged to not employ these people.
Oh shame. Your poor ward.

I would employ an illegal Zimbabwean or Malawian any day before I employ a lazy useless South African.

My hierarchy of employment for manual labour or non professional work looks like this, and I am inclined to do the same for professional staff as well.

Legal Immigrant > Illegal Immigrant > Rather do the job myself > Rather leave the job undone > hire a South African .

I wonder who these xenophobes and racists will blame for their own failures once they have chased away all the immigrants, and driven every white man into the sea? Maybe then they will realise the failure sits within their own failed culture and work ethic.

Everyone is a lazy useless South African except me. I am the only one who is useful and active.

Well many jobs are going to be left undone then. The R200 you pay your cheap illigal gardener once a week is just not worth all the social ills than come with millions of illegals.

He isn't wrong. Hiring a low skilled South African for anything is just a headache 95% of the time.

There are some good ones but they quickly work their way into more permanent employment with regular customers.

Those you can pick up on the side of the road sit on the side of the road for a reason and then the possibility exists that they are just going to return after hours and steal your stuff.

And it isn't race based. Most white beggers still think they are too good to do garden work/manual labour.

So these clowns vote for the ANC... the ANC then issue valid work permits for a huge number of foreigners... the said clowns now want to run amok and kill every foreigner.

1) Why not go protest at Lootfreely house.
2) While you're there, go protest at GriftOfTheGrifters as they imported a few hundred illegal foreigners.
