Solar generation in rain/cloudy conditions

Sounds like you need another geyser in series. :P
lol. That would definitely work. But for 2 people it will only benefit maybe 5 days a year.

And it’s 2 guys that will be staying at the house. They hate bath tubs. So the extra geyser will only be an upgrade for when I come back.

Of the quotes I've seen posted around these parts is max R20k. Are those installers still around? They sound like Eskom contractors that dont eat when nothing breaks so when they do get work, they work as slow as humanly possible.
20k for what installation?

Beggers cant be choosers. Why get a 3kVA when you can get a 7kVA for the same price?

What is your selling price?

It will charge his batteries in an hour. Then he can pack it away for next year.
I paid 9k for it in 2023

Its like a genny. It just sits until you need it.

Bottom of the barrel coming up. Shortest day of the year with drizzle and overcast all day. 1.5kWh at midday... /facedesk

We probably similar. The highest I saw was 700W. On average 300W. At this point I’m generating enough to keep the inverters self consumption in check.
