Elon Musk's fortune reaches $1.05 trillion

Company worth is not your worth. In fact, as a traded company most of it is other people's worth. Of course he did well for himself, but this math is not mathing.
That’s already factored in. He owns 38% of it, that’s over $800m. The rest of his net worth comes from
His other companies.

Besides, none of the world REAL richest people/families will you ever see on these silly richest lists.
I doubt that. It’s hard to accumulate that kind of wealth unnoticed.

Why is 'donation' the only way??
New entity, ai and tech stuff involved (supposedly his forte), there are myriad ways he could impact the worst situations.
Well...list them then? It's easy to kvetch from the sidelines. A myriad of ways is a real lot, so it should be easy for you to list just 5.

Also: over the last few decades, $1.4 trillion in aid has been pumped into Africa...and nothing's changed.

I don't even pledge €1 to some well in Africa to be built...why should he give billions?

You live in angry, socialist fantasy land.

I couldn't help but notice your location.

The Netherlands is significantly more socialist than South Africa. While neither is a true socialist state, the Netherlands functions as a highly successful social democracy with an extensive welfare state, whereas South Africa operates as a mixed capitalist economy struggling with high inequality.

Dude...

Elons money is made from Government subsidies and contracts.

What does ANY of this have to do with my post?

Let me help: absolutely nothing.

You want to try another tack?

What's wrong with government contracts? He provides a service and get's paid.

List the Government "subsidies" and then show which part is not within the law and applied by ANY other company in the US.

Also: his biggest income is from Starlink/SpaceX ( US$ 850 billion) and Tesla (US$330 billion)...not from government "subsidies"...don't embarrass yourself.

Also from other ventures that adds another ~$10 billion+. This consists of co-founding stakes in his smaller private tech companies, including brain-computer interface developer Neuralink and infrastructure firm The Boring Company.

He also paid $11 billion in taxes just for the 2021 financial year. Not enough for you?

I find all this hate based on bullschit lefty talking points, fascinating.

He is paid with tax money.

My point is that he is a government employee who doesn't have to be a part of the government.

Which one of his companies bring money into the US economy ?

EDIT:

List the Government "subsidies" and then show which part is not within the law and applied by ANY other company in the US.

Tesla is the only company of his that makes money and it does so because EV's get credits.

You know black people from the impoverished American slums are now saying that socialism has done them a disservice. After decades of charity they are saying that the new generation has not learned to take care of themselves and have no life goals but have become dependant. Throwing money at a problem doesn't always have the desired result.

Are any Marxist fckwits eligible for those same benefits? If so, how many have successful businesses?

Always find it hilarious when internet activists (and Elon haters) think Elon could "end" hunger and poverty in africa in any sort of sustainable sense if he gave away his money.

If he did, the people who were poor and hungry before he gave his money, would still be poor and hungry afterwards. The causes of hunger and poverty in Africa won't be fixed by Elon's money lol.

But it would probably help a lot if managed correctly. He is the guy who has a charity, but doesn't actually give away money, basically used as a tax free funnel to stuff he's connected to, but even then he fails to spend all if it: https://www.yahoo.com/news/articles/tax-filings-reveal-musk-foundation-074000587.html?guccounter=1

This is besides that's he's a trillionaire based on 4% of the stock extrapolated to all of it, and that the banks have a vested interest to have it traded as they're tied to the stock price (so is google) (and that there have been stuff like allowed to trade in IPO with $2k instead of $100k in account as per norm, and that you are not allowed to sell for 6 months, so it's being designed that retail holds the bag).
