when i was at Wits Tech i was showing someone a trick to de solder an IC quickly ( on their faulty TV ) by heating all the solder holding it in place and pulling it out instead of sucking off the solder on each leg one by one and i blew a fuse on their TV

i had assumed the TV was unplugged
