Russo-Ukrainian War - 2022 Edition - Part 11

In the Kremlin’s version of “negotiations,” Ukraine must first accept Russia’s terms: the Istanbul agreements, the so-called “realities on the ground,” and the demands Putin outlined in his 2024 speech at the Russian Foreign Ministry.Translated from Kremlin-speak: Russia is ready for peace if Ukraine agrees to Russia’s conditions.Nothing new.The Russian dictator also repeated his usual claims that Kyiv is responsible for the collapse of previous talks and went on to say that attacks on Russian territory and civilian casualties only motivate his boys to carry out their combat missions even more aggressively.

They signed a peace treaty
You asked who the Nazi's buddies were in the first years of the war and the answer is: Poland, the UK, Italy, Japan, France, Romania, Hungary, Lithuania, Slovakia and Denmark.

And leading those is the UK

with the Munich agreement crucially handing over Czechoslovakia's border fortifications and the massive Skoda Works, hugely boosting Nazi armaments. Also, it's arguable that the Munich agreement precipitated the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact:

On top of that, you have Edward VIII encouraging the Germans to "bomb Britain into submission".

So, if one is being an apologist, I guess it's feasible to say that the UK and friends were acting out of fear and self-interest. But that probably goes doubly for the USSR, who shared a (wide-open) border with Poland.

What is not in doubt is that these pacts were short-lived. Apart from Ukraine, where the Nazi collaborators are still celebrated:
