Which TV of these two would you choose for gaming?

Apparently :) take a chance on the Telefunken it's cheaper

Nah, some bad reviews of the Telefunken.

What about a Toshiba 32" ?

And the Hisense brand?
Same price.

Toshiba and Hisense are about the same. Hisense owns Toshiba, so same same. Just check for better features

Apparantly the Hisense is made entirely in China and assembled in China, South Africa and other countries.

While Toshiba has software and some hardware made in Japan, so I'm gonna go with the Toshiba.

Did you receive the Toshiba yet? All good hopefully and not another dud.

They were all sold out in Cape Town, so they had to ship from Durban or Joburg I guess. Shipping starts today and delivery on Saturday. Looking forward to some decent gaming.

Was it the 32"??

Specs look decent enough, sometimes going for better spec over screen size isn't a bad thing. If you're half a m away you should be fine, I've had my 32" 1440p monitor for 6 years and it's been fine, sit far enough away to not see pixelation as a lot would moan about.

Why are you buying a TV instead of a monitor for gaming? A TV will require a TV license...a monitor not (has no TV signal receiver).

Price?

Yeah I'm quite close in my office/gaming room so I should be fine.

As long as it's not a dud I will be happy.

Look a third time... I would just uhmmm. I think it might be the same TV my dad uses as a gaming monitor for his pc.
I played on it about 3 months ago, it's fine, just speakers weren't great.

It's gaming on a console, generally a TV works better than a monitor for that. Plus the price of a 32" TV is far lower than a equivalent monitor.

I have read good reviews about this Toshiba model so all should be fine. If not, will get a refund and look at the Hisense A4Q.
