IRAN WAR: You can't lose, if you don't have a goal

I can't agree with you there. You could never trust the ANC with the death penalty.
We're not talking about the ethics of the ANC having generalised death penalty access.

We're talking about citizens actively conspiring against the country seeking to damage it greatly.

So you're condoning the activities of the Apartheid government?

Which party would you trust with the death penalty?

None... no political party should ever have access to that lever, and not even because the party itself would abuse it (though most would at some point) but because a party is not in power forever (regardless of what uBaba thinks) and you can never be sure the next grouping won't abuse it.

I used to have a friend that could exaggerate like you. No one said they should be put to death, here you aren't even put to death for murder or rape. But what I did say was that we are soft, and we are soft because Cyril is a coward.
Cyril is powerless even if he wasn't a coward. The problem is the entire criminal justice system from law enforcement to the courts. There's nothing deterring politicians and people with influence from behaving the way they do. The new "Scorpions" was meant to have been that but they're pansies too...

I assume because the biggest user, China, is getting its oil directly with Iran with its own currency without any issue so its not buying at market rates
Chinese oil reserves were completely stable during the entire war, while everyone else's crashed. They never needed Iran.

I'm sure this works on someone. But not me.
Huh? It's a reasonable question. But I understand if you don't have the courage to answer it. Let me then ask you whether you see any differences between Apartheid South Africa and current day Iran? On a governmental level.

Regardless of what, we can never have the death penalty in this country again, especially not for political crimes like treason. It is bound to be abused to settle scores.

Which party would you trust with the death penalty?

Not a single one of them.

You never have to worry about the death penalty, because no one would ever get there.

I doubt China makes pubic its oil reserves. I know they have been using some up since their imports were cut by a third.

"The analysis estimated that China, which doesn't publicly disclose its reserve levels, added an average of 1.1 million barrels per day to its strategic inventories in 2025."

And the majority of us voted for that. So we have to live with it.

No it's not reasonable lmao and you know it. That's why you had to sit there, dribbling, going "BUT WHAT ABOUT MUH APARTHEID".

between Apartheid South Africa and current day Iran?
We must bomb them because they were meanie to a few people you like. 🫵😂

Coming down on the side of a despotic regime that terrorises and murders it's citizens is a wild take.
Fighting to remove the current govenment of Iran is not the same as trying to damage the country itself.

For fŭck sake.

New data from the US government shows...

The majority of the people over there seem to be fine with it, why should I want to change it.

Notice that you are the wanks here, not me. You don't have some special moral obligation to go and bomb and kill the people you think you are saving.

By this logic, you liberated those ~150 Iranian school children that were 'missiled' into dust.

And you know this from all the elections that the Iranian people have had to confirm their choice of goverment?

Totally agree, but celebrating the incarcaration of 3000 people who are trying to depose a tyrannical regime is pretty "****" too

@Cray reminder that you think Russia is a dictatorship because US and Friends news and thinktanks keep telling you it is. Yet Russians...the actual people who live there...are fine with it.

You'd want to go liberate them too.
