Need to buy a new sofa set for the lounge. I want leather recliners, the boss doesn't want it. We have a 5 x 5m lounge so we have some flexibility in type of sofa. At the moment , we have a skedonk 3 seater that has seen better days, facing the TV with 2 x single seaters - they don't match!

I assume Cori-craft stuff won't last long, but I also can't afford or don't want to spend like 80K for a sofa set.

Can you share some places in Joburg: Fourways, Sandton surrounds or even a bit further that sell good comfortable furniture at good prices?

Unsure how good these guys are: https://leathergallery.co.za

Thx

Just want a set that can survive beagles using it as a racetrack/trampoline.......

PS. I am also actively avoiding Decofurn and Cielo. I have seen some relatives houses that were furnished there and two years later - they look 'bad' ...

I've had my Coricraft set since 2001. It's light beige, sand, almost white (i'm sure there's a term for it), It's survived a toddler and dogs. The covers and cushion covers all come off and go into the wash. The only thing i have against it is the inside membrane of the actual cushions has disintegrated and you get charged R80.00 to replace each one. A three-seater and a two-seater.

Nothing wrong with Coricraft, will last decades no problem. Just do yourself a favour and pay the extra for the scotch guard it really does work and you can have it cleaned and redone every 5 years for not crazy money.

Sofaworx also isn't a bad option and then of course the big brands like La-z-boy which go far beyond just recliners like people seem to think.
