I've been a "from the sidelines" kind of Anime watcher over the years, liked a few things here and there but until recently when I watched Frieren and absolutely fell in love with it. Now I've found a few more shows I'm enjoying again.

Have been buying the Frieren manga now, I have 3 volumes with another 6 on the way. The anime is almost identical but it's still nice going through the story in a different medium.

Still only just trailer on prime... But I see the presentation is closer to source, this may put off/surprise few people who never seen or read the original mangas.
 
I Want to Love You Till Your Dying Day

At first I was girls love, skip, but decided to give it a go anyways. Yeah this is the summer show of the season, the girls love plays second fiddle to the main plot which is just plain dark and visceral.


The other show worth mentioning is
The Exiled Reincarnated Heavy Knight is Unrivaled in Game Knowledge

GoHands have their work cut out for them, the fights do look epic, but there has been some commentary about some animation errors here and there, especially the hair simulation, still pretty as fck to be honest....

 
First ep of ghost in a shell re-adaption done - so this is basically a 1:1 from the source and if you don't know that style, that is not having read the manga at all or at least look at it, it maybe be a bit strange and quite different. Not 100% sure what to make of this yet, doesn't make it bad, it was in fact above average, but still I need to see this as a whole or at least a few eps in.
