Uber and Bolt drivers warned to avoid airports and townships

The National E-Hailing Federation of South Africa (NEFSA) has confirmed that many Uber, Bolt, and InDrive drivers will continue operating as usual on Tuesday, 30 June 2026.

This was despite the planned mass protest action against illegal immigrants in the country. However, NEFSA spokesperson Stella Masagale said a fair number of drivers had also opted not to work on the day.

Bwahahahahahaha..

I reckon ban taxi drivers as well, dangerous fsckers.

BTW, what customer overlap exists between delivery bikes/e-hailing drivers and taxi drivers?
They draw from the same pool of unlicensed drivers, who all paid instead of doing the test, and thus started off unable to drive, and have stayed that way, and in addition still will not learn other than that laws exist for others, and they need to get to the next stop faster than before.
