Majority of my colleagues stayed at home today, even though none of us stay in an area that will be even remotely affected by this.

I must say, the traffic this morning was quite pleasant. Nary a taxi in sight

They need to focus on DHA and then remove Zimbabwean, Malawian, Nigerian officials and see what happens.

I don't think that apartheid apologist is the accurate term here. Nobody can defend the core policy of apartheid, but equally nobody can deny the economic and infrastrural achievements of the apartheid government.

I would say that race based laws aside , you cannot even compare the scorecards of the all white government to this government of today ,in terms of accomplishments, governance, integrity , implementation of law and order, foresight & efficiency etc.

I'd still like to his/her/it's definition of Apartheid apologist. I suspect it's very broad. Probably something to do with skin pigmentation as well. But let's wait for the response.

There are people who defend apartheid at its core, I still see plenty of those, You will see statements like:

  • Ultimately people want to be seperate anyway
  • Look at how blacks rule
  • Look at tribalism
  • You don't know the "real" truth about apartheid
  • The British started the real problems
