Oh Oh Oh prices:-
A more detailed look at the 20-year price journey reveals how it has climbed:
  • 2006 – 2010: A 2-liter bottle generally hovered between R15 and R22 in the mid-2000s, crossing the R20 mark as manufacturing and ingredient costs rose.
  • 2011 – 2015: Prices slowly climbed into the R25 to R30 bracket as inflation and a weakening rand impacted raw materials.
  • 2016 – 2020: Prices became more volatile, driven heavily by the 2018 implementation of South Africa's Health Promotion Levy (sugar tax). By 2017, sale prices were around R29.99, but the standard shelf price quickly pushed closer to R35.
  • 2021 – 2024: During the post-pandemic years, rampant global inflation accelerated price hikes. The 2-liter size averaged R35 to R42 on regular shelves.
  • 2026 Prices: The iconic 2-liter concentrate generally retails for R36.99 on special or around R47.99 at full price.
Still very refreshing after w workout of sorts if you have a sweet tooth.

Also enjoyed the guava but it makes you cough.

Like everything else that Tiger Brands has touched.......Oros and my taste buds no longer agree. Oros used to taste much nicer before they got involved.

It's not about the oranges. It's about the taste that has changed.

Squeeze your own oranges

South Africans are so lazy.

I am truly amazed there is even real orange juice in them, Oros tastes so synthetic I would have never expected that.

"The company is the largest producer of orange concentrate in South Africa, procuring around 45,000 tonnes of oranges every year. This is equivalent to 275 million individual oranges.
This it tunred into 3.5 million litres of orange concentrate for Oros, equivalent to 1.75 million 2L bottles. "
