South Africans lured into becoming money mules and could go to jail for it

South African banking customers may have become unwitting money mules, as malicious actors leverage social engineering, gullibility, and desperation to exploit victims.

With a name that long he's gotta be an expert at something
You made me laugh this morning... However, I like this name much more than some of the European sounding names they give themselves. With my work, I do have access to the home affairs database and you won't believe the names you see there Pirate, Sms, Captain, Doctor, Cellphone, Tire, BMW, King, Queen, Beautiful, Expensive, everything is there as long as it sounds European

Maybe instead of blocking mule accounts, have the owners arrested - or was FICA just for a select few!?

That's exactly what many Somalians do. Ethiopians prefer to drive the money 1000's of kms from the rural towns to Jozi.

These are just some of the "law abiding ,hard working, legal" victims @Foxhound5366 love so much

The question is, are people actually going to jail for being money mules?
Only the lowest members on the rungs, the higher ups simply vanish, and carry on again, as they have multiple identities, and multiple accounts they use, and you never will find them with our current SAPS abilities.
