SAPO delivered a parcel notification slip to a MyBroadband tester four months after they'd collected the package

Lucky the parcel was received at all never mind the notification.

My daughter ordered something from Temu - took 4 trips to post office before we finally got it.

Months later I got a slip to pay for "handling fee" :-)
 
“We are aware that the Regional General Manager of the Eastern Cape assisted the client to receive the parcel on 2 Jan 2026, which he was pleased with,” they said.

It took 3 weeks...what exactly is he pleased with?

Depends who "he" is - the recipient or the general manager...
 
The GM was pleased to have meaningful work.
Meaningful?

“There must have been an error with the collection note being sent out after the parcel had already been received. We apologise for this error.”
If you look at the slip it was stamped six days before the parcel was collected.
 
Speeding fine in September paid in Oct, notice delivered June.
Package from Germany shipped in 2022, arrived in 2025
