The Cape of Good Hope SPCA has launched an urgent investigation after a dog was allegedly subjected to a brutal and deliberate attack on a beach alongside Baden Powell Drive, with officials appealing to the public for information that could help identify those responsible.

The horrific incident happened on Wednesday, 1 July, when a group of children who walked past the beach witnessed, what the SPCA has described, as an appalling act of animal cruelty.

According to the organisation, the children saw three men assaulting a dog whose front and back legs had been tightly bound. The men allegedly kicked the helpless animal before setting their own dogs on him.

The distressed dog cried out in pain, prompting the children to immediately alert their father.

I would personally go a step further, these people should be subjected to the same treatment then shot and removed from the world after a while.
Shot no, to quick. What they were doing to the dog, let them lay there dying slowly or let the tide take them.

The shot is after they've had to endure everything they did to the dog, and a bit more... and its also largely to eventually shut them up because the crying and whining will be annoying.

Nah still too quick, just muzzle them to shut them up

I suppose duct tape is cheaper than a bullet as well. No real need to waste unnecessary money on such scum.
Exactly, don't want to cost us more money, clean up afterwards hmmm, suppose that would still need to be done.

Nah, can make a plan for the clean up that requires minimal effort... some vultures would solve the problem really I think, or a pig farm.

Imagine these 3 untc being beat up by someone there own size. Do hope they can find them.
Where is the internet detectives . they will make them famous quick. plaster there faces over the web

A group of children, walking past, saw what three men were doing on that beach. A dog with his front and back legs bound was lying on the sand while the men kicked him, and set their own dogs on him.

Let me guess, the shitbulls that these dogs likely were, were going to nurse it back to health.

Life imprisonment.

meet elena (on the right)

same story as this dog.
i was in hout bay, noticed a commotion on the side of the road - realised the locals were kicking a dog like a football.
did a u-turn and homed in.
grabbed the dog and high-tailed it out of there and off to vet.
in my hurry, and checking for traffic, i landed up hitting the one savage.
did not intend it, and was not too hard - but i'm in a big heavy suv.

a suv being high, pedestrians tend to be hit straight on and bounced forward, unlike a regular car where they usually land up on the bonnet. but he bounced about 4m - probably rather painful.
vet saved an fixed the dog, i landed up adopting her.
poor thing - so ugly, looked like a hyena, but turned out to be an amazing dog.

she was a peculiar dog.
at the time i had my mother's car at my house - i would take elena to the beach, but she would always and without doubt, leap into my mother's car (a convertible - roof normally down) , but leap right in, over the body of the car - ignoring mine, and sit like a madam in the passenger seat
