LOL! That is so obviously political. It is also telling that they're going with that as evidence of corruption when a wholly corrupt party has been in charge for 20+ years of wholesale looting and continuing.
Out of 3 million Zimbabweans, only 60000 going back home won't really make much of a difference but we will see.
I also don't get why people flee from ANC led Bantustans* to Cape Town if it's so bad?
Yeah black Twitter is strangely obsessed only with CT and no other major cities in SA, despite the same spatial patterns replicating itself elsewhere. Obviously nothing to do with it being DA-run and race agitators trying to to paint the DA in a bad light.
That's the one.Is Solly the one with the bloody lip?
I can never keep track of them
3 million? Is that really how many? Jasus thats a boat load. Are there any actual numbers of how many immigrants live in SA? Crime Intelligence’s Major General Feroz Khan has an estimated R39 million property portfolio, which includes luxury homes in George, Houghton and Umhlanga, and last year declared to the police that he owned 30 cars.
On Monday, Madlanga Commission evidence leader Adila Hassim revealed that Khan had disclosed earning R3 million a year from his Spares Oasis company between 2021 and 2026, an amount she said was two and a half times what he earned in his senior position at Crime Intelligence.
She said commission evidence leaders would argue that Khan’s declaration of these multimillion-rand earnings did not amount to “full disclosure” of his finances.
This was not a “gratuitous inquiry” into Khan’s private life, Hassim stressed, but was motivated by evidence that he was embroiled in “tender syndicates” and an alleged kickback scheme and had misused his senior position in the police.
While Khan had declared owning a single property in his financial disclosures to the police, News24 can exclusively reveal that he owns at least three luxury properties, including a mansion he built in the Breakwater Bay Eco Estate in George.
He had sent images of the ultra-high-end property to Ismail Vally, for whom he allegedly rigged a R54 million auto spares National Treasury tender in June 2021.
News24 established that the property was bought in 2018 by Inspirational Holdings, a company of which Khan is the sole director. He paid R3 575 000 for the empty plot.
In 2024, an R11.24 million bond was registered over the property.
Additionally, Khan owns:
He does not appear to have disclosed all these properties to the police.
- A R7.1 million apartment in The Pearls in Umhlanga, purchased in 2015 and registered in the name of the FK Property Trust in 2018. It is bonded with FNB for the full amount of R7.1 million.
- A property in The Houghton in Houghton, Johannesburg, which was purchased by the FK Property Trust in 2014 for R8.8 million. He has a R7 million bond registered over this property.
- A property in Houghton Estate purchased by Inspirational Holdings in 2019 for R7.9 million. A R6.3 million bond is registered over the property. Investigations by News24 have shown that Khan’s known property portfolio, which also includes smaller properties, including commercial properties, is worth an estimated R39 million.
In total, the bonds amount to just over R31 million.
Information on the trustees of the FK Property Trust was not immediately available. The trust was linked to Khan as it was the owner of the luxury apartment where his dramatic arrest unfolded on 10 May 2026.
