funny that this proposed new tax is not ringfenced but goes into the general fiscus, and joins all the other taxes that were implemented to supposedly pay for road maintenance, yet those also disappear. So, in addition to paying for the RAF through fuel levies, through generat tax bailouts, we will pay again for it, and it still will be unable to function because all of the money disappears due to corruption and false claims from those corrupt officials. Then again the taxpayer will be expected to pay for it.

Road maintenance the same, supposedly paid for by levies in fuel and also tyres, and again with the "temporary" R72 levy, and yet still the backlog of road repair grows, roads are full of potholes, and even the toll roads, which were supposed to contribute to road maintenance, have the profits vanish.
