When your balance is not what it used to be. Was taking off my pants, my one foot got caught and I crashed into the tile floor. Luckily didn't get hurt but maybe I'll have some bruises in the morning.
I hate to be that guy but it's age bro, we're all getting there :(

Nothing is what it once was 😔

Ya, in my 20's I'd be up in no time but in your 50s+ it's like an incident report. You first lay there for a while assessing the situation, and check each part.. arm okay? hip still works? knee intact? Did I startle the neighbours? Let me try to get up slowly..

I'm 63. Spider bit me on my face about 16 years ago. Balance went to **** after that.

Everything I do when walking I have to think about before hand. No such thing as sudden movements for me.

It's a real pain in the arse.
But you learn to live with it

I don't enjoy being lectured right before sleep. Yes, much is probably warranted, but the timing of last thing at night? I ain't perfect or remotely even close, but I am trying hard to make a difference.

I work in an office park.

Yesterday morning I saw those taxi marshals (the ones that drive marked cars and wear high vis vests) pull over a guy driving a Suzuku Ertiga as he left the office park. I also saw an Avanza pulled over with another marshal talking to the driver. Judging by the type of vehicles they were targeting, without a doubt they were checking to see if these were either e-hailers or some sort of private lift club/transport arrangement.

Who the hell gives these assholes the right to pull people over and check them?

So yesterday the faciliteis manager at work sent out an email regarding these marshals and their ''activities''.

They are targeting and intimidating lift clubs. They advised people to not engage and escalate and to report any interactions with them to SAPS and security.

When I left, I saw a handful of the ''patrol cars'' and a more thugs marshals than usual. This morning I counetd 6 patrol cars and around half a dozen thugs marshals in high viz vests standing at the intersection right outside the office park, so there is no way to avoid them. I have never seen this many before. There was always a patrol car and a couple of thugs marshals standing around, but they sat by the bus stop/taxi rank opposite the office park.

My theory is the fuel hikes have and general spiral in the cost of living has seen more people turn to lift clubs and these arseholes don't like it.

The absolute entitlement and arrogance to think they can dictate how people get to and from work. When I saw them this morning my blood started boiling. Need to build myself a killdozer so I can flatten their cars.

The sad thing is SAPS will do absolutely nothing; they are just as big thugs, and some of them are most probably the ones that sent these "marshals" because they own the taxis
