Top South African private school under siege over flying the LGBTQ+ Pride flag

Not really any different in my eyes.

If a private school my kids don't go to wants to show support for things that's their concern not mine. Private means it's not my money, so it's none of my business.

Now if a publicly funded school is flying the Hamas flag or something. Then I'd argue there's a problem.

But it is the business of the parents paying to send their kids there

I'm sure someone with enough money will have a stern word or three and the principal will find a different hobby soon enough

It has been my experience that the rich folk are by far the most accepting of every brand of XYZ.

Strongly suspect no stern words will happen and all the outrage is entirely external to the school itself.

Everything is "Under Siege" nowadays. MyBB bot needs to expand it's vocabulary.

That being said, it's up to the parents to complain about that gay flag. If they start speaking with their wallets it will go down faster than an 80yo dude without viagra.
