Things that irritate you - Part 4

I'm 63. Spider bit me on my face about 16 years ago. Balance went to **** after that.

Everything I do when walking I have to think about before hand. No such thing as sudden movements for me.

It's a real pain in the arse.
But you learn to live with it

This has been going on for a few months.

Using iPhone and iPad on a fibre connection. Only website that does this.

Top floor toilet cistern has been filling super-slowly since we moved into this house.
Complained about it as part of the snag list - they came and looked and said it was normal - related to decreased water pressure because the bathroom is like 10m above ground level.

Got worse in the last week or two after a bit of plumbing work downstairs (unrelated to this toilet)

Called another plumber in to have a look at why it was so bad. Turns out it's got a filter in the supply valve which was completely clogged up with debris from when the plumbing was first commissioned...

its to stop grit getting between the shut off valve seal and the seat , otherwise it just keeps filling up non stop

No I know why there's a filter - that's fine.
The annoying thing is the builders who didn't do a proper job of investigating and fixing when I first reported it - so now I've had to pay a plumber to come out.
