SARS eFiling struck by big outage

Taxpayers have complained that the South African Revenue Service's (SARS) eFiling platform is inaccessible, with customers unable to log in to the service.

Some users received an "unexpected error" message, while others aren't receiving the one-time password (OTP) required for two-factor authentication.

It feels like playing Blizzard games, start of new season

Since Kiswetter left the seen. new broom wants to sweep clean.

Getting the same. Oh well. Not sure why I was not auto assessed anyway. My tax is pretty straight forward.
My RA provider said they accidentally included transfers to them (from other RA's) as contributions - so I suspect, that's why I fell out of the auto assessment batch :cautious:

You can all thank me for that.
Every, f**ing, night.

What could this mean? I changed jobs and pension was transferred to new employee successfully. Thats the only thing I can think of.

SARS WANTS ME TO PAY R6200.00!! I checked my details and my IRP5 I go is there..and also the R2000.00 interest received. Pattern paid R50 000.00 into Bank Zero account for his rent for the year and expenses. It is from his provident fund that pays out in January every year..but it is not listed any where and it is not rental income. I googled and said money as gifts is not taxable.

My sis says hers is also weird. She normally gets a good chunk back. This year her calculation shows 10c

Any of you have issues???

Yes they kakked me out via PDF because I submitted provisional tax way below the 30k minimum. I didn't even know there was a minimum. How about having tax as a subject in schools so we can know these things bloody hell. Instead I had to read to kill a mockingbird in school. It's really helped me a lot in life.

people really that keen to submit tax returns?!? lmfao

first time in a good while I expect a decent chunk of change due to me, but damn son it is only day 1 of the filing season
