Sen Lindsey Graham dies at 71 after ‘brief and sudden illness

Condolences to his family. RIP.

At least he had an OK innings. 71 and still healthy enough to keep working? We should all be so lucky.
 
Adam Kinzingers post re Lindsey suddenly passing was probably more along the line which I would like politicians to be like, unfortunately Mr Reflecting Swamp sets the tone now, so yeah.

I'm interested that despite Graham having turned into a huge MAGA supporter, he got praise from some Senate Democrats, which is unusual in these highly polarised times.

Shoot man I don't know the percentages or rates and I doubt it's something that's tracked, but political and religious leaders that push homophobic rhetoric and later turn out to be gay are a disturbingly frequent occurrence. You could probably find at least 50 of them with a few minutes of Googling.

I cannot remember ever reading about a single arachnophobe later being outed as a spider fscker. I'm not even sure mechanically how you'd fsck a spider.

I am reasonably confident that the numbers for the homophobes are higher.
